Today we have chosen a very interesting pixel love game called Next Please created by Vyacheslav Stepanov.
We thought that the core game mechanic was very clever in this puzzle platformer.
You are playing as both the hero and the environment. Turn your character into solid platforms to reach out to higher places and destroy them again when they get in your way.

It’s been another extremely cold and hectic week here at Nitrome Towers. For those of you who like to be kept informed of the latest gossip, we thought you might like to hear the progress of our Flightless Greenlight campaign over on Steam.
It’s both 'good' news and 'bad' really. The good being that it’s FINALLY smashed through the top 100 leader board barrier, currently being placed at spot 89 in the charts. The bad news is that we were at place 85 and have continued to drop further down :(

Now that we are in the Christmas period we felt that it was time to release the first of our two winter games.
Ice Beak is the latest in our icon game series. It's a puzzle shooting game which oddly, for a winter game, features just as much hot as it does cold!

Hey Nitromians it’s another busy Monday morning over at the Nitrome towers HQ. It’s a good job that our next showcase pixel love game is all about Multitasking then is it?
Duo Tasking a game by DigiCroc is a cleaver little platformer with a nifty puzzle twist.
You take control of pixel robot, who’s task is to collect all the coins on stage whist avoiding anything red. However (and here is the cleaver bit) not only do you control the platform robot, but a big red laser at the same time....Wait, WHAT?!?
As you move the robot from left to right, your laser will move from top to bottom. Both of them are vulnerable to damage, and the robot even is killed by your lasers which makes for some interesting duel action puzzles.

Now we know there are a few games like this out there but One Button Bob deserves recognition due to it’s slick execution.
Easy to pick up and play, each challenge is different enough to keep you interested. With the difficulty level set to “fun” rather than “rock hard and frustrating!” we wanted to shine our weekly light of love on Tom “Ninjadoodle” Vencel’s pixelated adventure.
Oh and we love the Commodore 64 reference at the start… extra kudos for that!
It looks good, sounds good and plays well. So go on give it ten minutes of your time and enjoy :0)
