We have a great classic pixellove game for you today, K.O.L.M by Armor Games.

You play as a lost robot that is trying to fix himself by applying different modules scattered throughout the world. These modules help your agility and manoeuvrability.

This game plays in such a fluid manner, with great level progression and puzzle solving.

The music is wonderful too.

Hello all,

So it's Friday again, how did that happen?

It's been a busy but good week for us here in Nitrome Towers. We had some awesome fan art that we blogged about and we revealed a new game that should be coming out soon. But before we sign off for the weekend it's customary for us to give you a heads up on what will follow next week!

You should know that we have a lot of things going on and so next week we will reveal to you a game that we have in development that you don't know about. It could be a game for the website, or for mobile, or both! You'll just have to wait and see... so until then have a fab weekend.

Hey Nitromians,

The team at Nitrome HQ have been hard at work over the past months making some great new games for our site and mobile. We thought it was about time that we started to show some of them off.

Our next game to come to our site is a Halloween themed title.You play as a vampire/monster hunter in search for your evil nemesis Dracula. In the usual Nitrome fashion, this will be no easy task.

Check out the preview of the main protagonist and a couple of his foes.

Another Monday another great Pixel Love gaming treat for you all, Our Worlds by Davi Santos.

We were instantly drawn to the mechanic in this game and the concepts behind the game. There is a lot of depth in the gameplay and plenty to keep you interested throughout the game.

AHOY, me hearties!

There be mutiny inside the game. Those scurvy code lovers be reeking all kinds o havoc. Savvy?

Ahem... apologies, I don't know quite what came over me. What I meant to say was that we have fixed a handful of issues with our game Mutiny. You should now be able to enjoy the game again as was originally intended.

-Players can now read the introduction speech before and after levels.

-A number of weapons were broken and have been fixed.

These issues came about after we tampered with the game to include avatars inside the game.Not to worry, we have them safely locked away in Davy Jones’ locker.

YO HO HO... YEARRRRGH!

Hi Nitromians,

We have chosen a great Pixel Love game for you today, Chipset-0 by Deep Night!

This game has you maintaining a server farm full of humans, making sure everything is in order. We really enjoyed this one, the style is so well defined in which everything sits perfectly in the universe and makes for some real eye candy.

The game play is fluid, fun and comes packed with effective puzzle elements.

The level of finish on this game is remarkable considering it was built for LD30 (a 48h game jam).

To show our gratitude, we have just released four brand new "8bit Doves" avatars for you to unlock!

Tap on the avatars image in the 8bit Doves app to unlock them in your Nitrome account!

We will also be bringing you a brand new browser game next week, so keep an eye out for that!

Hey Nitromians,

We have posted an update to 8Bit Doves which has fixed several issues that we've spotted in its initial release.

-Players can now replay ANY level that they have completed without having to restart the pack all over. This really helps the replay value collecting all of the doves.

-Sounds added to the ending

-Added a few more doves on empty levels

-New useful interface bar to show number of doves per level and level number.

As you can see in the blog pic we have also changed the App icon from a simple dove to a more dynamic pose including the main protagonist. We had feedback that the simple pixelated dove might give the impression to users browsing on the stores of a super simple (Flappy Bird Esq) game that they might not tap on. 

You can get this update on Google Play store now and App Store as soon as it has been approved (our best guess is a few days)

Hi Nitromians!

Today's Pixel Love Game is Cactus McCoy 2 by Flipline Studios. We featured Cactus McCoy as one of the early Pixel Love games, and the second instalment builds on the already great original.

We really enjoy a good side scrolling beat-em-up, and this one hits upon a lot of the mechanics you'd expect. The western setting that has been crafted in the art style and the music is wonderfully captured.

Hey Nitromians,

We hope you have enjoyed this week's surprise release of 8BitDoves on mobile.

if you haven't picked it up yet and want to support us then you can grab it here!

We are still working hard on marketing for 8BitDoves aswell as some small fixes and editions that we plan to submit next week.  

We also plan to add some limited edition ingame avatars into the game, much like we did with Icebreaker as a small thanks to our fans. YIPEE!

Again many thanks to our loyal supporters who have bought the game already and to everyone who has helped by sharing, blogging, tweeting(#8Bitdoves), liking, talking about, drawing and reviewing the game and official trailer.

Great news Nitromians!

Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage has been selected by apple as its Free App of the week.

It will return to its full price next week, so if you have been unable to grab the paid version until now here's your chance.

We have no real intention to make large free games for mobile, but saw this as a rare opportunity to spread the Nitrome brand to a new audience. As apple doesn’t give this feature slot out very often we felt that it was worth the risk.

A huge HUGE thank you for those of you that have paid for the App already. Without this funding and your loyalty Nitrome would cease to exist today. All of your hard earned money will go towards funding other great games for our site and mobile.

We hope that you'll all join us in celebration for this great achievement as it will hopefully help us continue to be here for many years to come.
