Hi Everyone!

We are steadily moving through the list of bugs that we have found within the accounts system. Please feel free to add comments reporting more bugs below or over on Facebook.

The more we know about your experiences, the better we can diagnose problems. Try to give us your operating system and browser version when reporting bugs so that we can better pin point errors.

Issues that we have resolved:

• You can now unlock the avatar with the hint - "You could do with being a little more... social? Why not invite some friends round!"
• You can collect the "Heart 100 Games" badge
• The icon games will now work within their icons on the home page and game selection pages.
• In the blog/all comments sections, you can now click on the top level user avatar to be taken to their profile page.
• We have added the login box to more pages on the site. There are still some missing. We will get round to all pages.
• We have fixed various redirection bugs in the profile section of the site.
• We have cleaned up some style issues on the avatars and badge pages.

We will be retrofitting the badge and avatar mentioned above to users possibly tomorrow or next week. So if you feel you have performed the correct actions to gain these, you could be unlocking a new avatar/badge soon! We'll let you know as soons as we roll out this update :)

Hi Nitromians!

It has been a while since we posted any fan art, so we thought that today we'd share some cool art that we found.

Made by a Nitromian that goes by the name Tooniefox on deviantart, this piece of fan art features Parasite from our Parasite Game.

We think that the detail and effort that has gone into this has really paid off, we especially like the colour choices!

So in this wonderful world wide web of ours Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage is still getting some lovely reviews and comments.

We came across a review in the Entertainment section of metro.co.uk and also this in the Big Fish Games blog page.

We are very grateful for the positive reviews and comments. Every little bit helps us to achieve success in a highly competitive market and rewards us all with a little bit of glee every time we find something new!

Those lovely people at GamesMaster Magazine have included a glowing review of Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage in their latest edition that hit the UK newsagent shelves a couple of days ago.

GamesMaster magazine is a well respected multi-format videogame magazine that has been running for over 20 years now. We all have fond memories of first buying the magazine in our younger years and continue to do so now. So we are really chuffed to see Icebreaker receive such a favourable review.

So if you fancy it, (and you live in the UK) pop down to your local newsagent and pick up a copy.

Hi Nitromians!

We have fixed four of our games that had the wrong avatars in them. The games had been pointed out to us on Facebook. We would just like to say that the avatars are now in their correct games. You should now be able to collect those avatars!

Please clear your browser's cache to be sure that you get the latest version of our games.

Thanks for pointing out this issue to us. If you have any more bugs, please report them. It all goes towards making Nitrome better!

Hi Nitromians!

We are back featuring pixel love games on Mondays once again!

To kick things off this week, we thought we'd share this minimal game by Zapped Cow.

We are not too sure as to what the title of this one actually is, but we think that it's very cool and still deserves to be featured all the same.

The puzzles are clean, well designed and enjoyable to solve. You'll need to unlock the 'Gates' in the correct order whilst avoiding enemy blocks to clear each of the levels!

Accounts have been officially launched! Hurray!

Sorry about the false start we had last week, we tried our best to deliver but there was an overwhelming amount of issues!

We'll be keeping an eye on the system for any bugs that arise and will be adjusting things accordingly as we go. We want to make this the best experience that we can!

Hi Nitromians!

We are currently ready to start testing out our game pages with account features!

You may have noticed that some of the games will now have the 'Avatar Ticker' in them ready for avatar features, if you do not see them yet, please clear your cache!

We are aware that some visitors have reported being re-routed through to our registration page when trying to play a game on Nitrome, this shouldn't have happened and we are still trying to find the cause of this.

If the bug still happens for you, please report it to us on our Facebook page. This is one of those bugs that we can't really reproduce without first going live on the game pages.

Thanks again for your patience and for helping us iron out those pesky bugs! :)

Well we are sorry to say that due to an overwhelming level of bugs that came up at launch we have had to take them back down while we investigate what went wrong. We are sorry to disappoint you with this and we did fully intend to have ready for to you this week.

Believe us when we say your not as sorry as us.

The good news is that we feel fairly positive that whatever went wrong should be sortable by early next week... maybe even Monday with a bit of luck. So cross your fingers for us and we will see you all next week. We should also have some more Touchy news regarding the 2.0 update coming soon and some news for what we have been working on post-launch with Icebreaker!

Hi Nitromians!

Today's Pixel Love game is Hyper Pixel Man by Pixelulsar!

For those of you that really enjoyed the ultra difficult game Super Meat Boy, you'll be sure to get a kick out of this fast paced action packed platformer!

We found that the speed in which you get to restart levels really relieves a lot of the frustration you would be getting from the difficult later levels.

Guess what Nitromians...

We're launching accounts next week! Hurray!

That's right, we are just about ready to start rolling out the accounts system for you all. We know it has been a loooong time coming (It was a pretty deep system update for us). Being as thorough as we have been should allow us to start introducing more features down the line more quickly.

As we spoke about this in previous account related articles, this first revision will be the foundations upon which we will build.

One of the things you'll notice we focused on in the video is the ability to find Avatars in games. We have been getting a lot of enjoyment from adding these in to our games, we hope it translates into the experience you'll have when trying to find them all!

Again, we should also stress here that we really want to iron out any of those early bugs, that you inevitably find in any system this size, before we start loading down the servers with even heavier features. Game Saving for instance. No one wants to lose their game saves. Rest assured that we have already looked into this to find the best ways to handle saves ;)
