Hi Nitromians,

Some of you have pointed out to us recently that Rubble Trouble Tokyo had a bug on the level select screen.

The issue was that the levels were all showing '0' rather than the correct level number. This has now been resolved! :)

Thanks for helping us, if you have any other bugs, feel free to send them into us at the bugs@nitrome.com email address

Mega Mash Game Preview!

Righty ho Nitromians!

It’s time for a sneaky peak at our latest and greatest NES game that’s being developed here at Nitrome Towers! Lots to show on this one… we think you’ll like it!

These screen images are from “Mega Mash” in which you must master many skills! We don’t want to give away too much at this stage so we’ll leave it there. However we’re very excited about this one… as it brings something to the Nitrome catalogue that has never happened before… we’d love to hear what you think that might be!

Enjoy the piccys!

Hi Nitromians!

We have recently received some emails regarding problems with controlling older keyboard based games. We have looked into the issue and have found it to be only related to our older (AS2) games.

The problem is linked to the Chrome browser on Windows 7. Google are currently looking into the problem and will be rolling out the update in a week or two updating many of you automatically!

In the meantime, you can play our games on many other popular browsers including FirefoxInternet Explorer and Safari.

Hope this helps! :)

Steamlands Update!

Hi Nitromians,

Our Steamlands game just got a great update. There is now a dev mode in the game which you can access from the title screen.

This will allow you to change the game in pretty much any way you see fit. You're able to make new tanks, new levels or even a whole new map if you have the time and persistence!

For those who do make great levels we would love to know so we are inviting people to send them in to fans@nitrome.com. The best levels will be added to the game in the game’s first update and if you give your name in the email we will make sure your credited for the mission :)

At the moment we have no end date for submissions as we want to see how many we get sent before deciding any cut off but if you want the best chance of getting your level/levels in the game then sooner is going to be better than later!

Friday Update

Hi Nitromians!

It's Friday once again! We hope that you are enjoying Rubble Trouble Tokyo! We would also like to say that we have now chosen the name for the, until now, untitled game!

There were a lot of great ideas sent in to our Facebook, Twitter and Fan Email. Some of our favourites were 'Green Fingers', 'Jungle Jim' and 'Limb from Limb'. We feel that these names were great but they were just pipped to the post by another name.

The name we have chosen is... ...Canopy!

We think the first person to mention that name is Jazzy from our Facebook page, so well done Jazzy! :D

The Bats Are Back!

Hi Nitromians!

We recently went back inside the code for one of our older games, Cave Chaos, to fix a few little things when we came across something rather unusual.

It seems that the hard working bats in the game had decided to take a break from delivering the platform pieces and obstacles and take a nap. But thanks to the persuasive efforts of our new games modder Peter, the bats are now back and well rested!

No animals were harmed in the fixing of this game!

Hi Nitromians!

Our game Office Trap has been reviewed on the PC Gamer website as one of the weeks best free PC games!

'It’s the trimmings that I really like about Office Trap. It’s a game with a supremely silly sense of humour, featuring as it does a company called Corp Inc and a character named Godfrey Nectarine.' - PC Gamer

Rubble Trouble Update

Hi Nitromians!

Rubble Trouble is now... Rubble Trouble New York!

With the soon to come Rubble Trouble Tokyo, we wanted to give the original game a set location and set the series up so that more locations might become themes for possible future releases after Rubble Trouble Tokyo.

So what does this mean other than a name change? Well, there is an updated background and title screen but the main draw comes from the addition of two brand new levels with the new last level in particular providing an interesting surprise that is very appropriate to New York! :)
