This week's Pixel Love game is Sector 21!

For those of you who enjoyed playing Gravity Duck, this game has a similar gravity twisting mechanic. The levels get progressively more and more advanced in terms of testing your skills against the platforming puzzles.

We like the fact the restarts are so quick (we failed a lot during our play sessions :))

Hey Nitromians!

We have got so much going on here at Nitrome that we nearly forgot to mention that we'll be giving you brand new xmas avatars to track down and collect! Woohoo! You can expect these to be released daily through December, so check out the blog for clues as the are released!

It looked like you had a lot of fun last year, so we have brought it back and have got some really interesting and funny ones lined up for you to collect. Markus has been hard at work drawing up some brand new avatars too... Oh, and a whole new Christmas skin!

Well, that's all for now, but keep an eye on the blog this week, as we have a lot of great news to shout about!

Hi Nitromians,

We've just uploaded a new version of the Endless Doves game for the website.

This new version should resolve the highscore spam issue. We flushed the scoreboard too, but you can just re-submit your score upon crashing the character and it will be back in the scoreboard!

Today's Pixel Love game is Stakes by Folmer Kelly.

For those of you that are familiar with the concept of "puzzle blocks as platforms", such as all of you Super Puzzle Platformer veterans, you'll be more than at home in this great little game.

This one introduces some very interesting ideas like cannons, and spikes as platforms.

We really like the retro aesthetic in this one.

Hey Nitromians,

We have teased you for long enough. Check out the trailer for our latest and greatest Premium game for mobile devices.

Gunbrick will be coming to iOS and Android in the coming weeks. It is jam packed full of exciting new traps, cunning puzzles, amazing action packed features, great music, bosses and humorous cut scenes. We really have taken the small icon game to a new level of awesome.

Here is a small glimpse into the back-story of the latest must have gadget on the market.

In a future where cars are obsolete, the Gunbrick has become a worldwide sensation! The Gunbrick - A gun one side... a shield on the other.  

We have no set release date for it yet but stay tuned for more info on this exciting new game in the coming weeks.

There has been a great reception on the game so far. We are impressed by all of your highscores (you really have put our best score of 54 to shame... for now!) With Epiclucas sitting firmly at the top of the leaderboard with a massive 68 doves, does anyone think they have got what it takes to beat him?

Also has anyone managed to unlock all the items in the avairy yet? (no spoilers please)

Adventure Islands has done it again with this wonderful little puzzle platformer, Heart Star!

You have to try and get both the boy and the girl to the goal area, there is one problem though, they both live on different layers! They can help each other through the obstacles ahead though, and it is this mechanic that makes for a very enjoyable gaming experience!

It is available on phones and tablets across Android (Google Play store) and iOS (App store) and available on our website soon.

So what are you waiting for? get collecting those doves and go for a highscore.

Talking about highscores can any of you beat Nitrome's best score of 54?
